ROUTE ONE

Route One, specialises in Skateboarding, Snowboarding, BMX and Inline skating and began trading out of high street stores. Route One was one of the first UK retailers to launch online in 1998.

I took over Project Managing the development team in 2010 and work closely with Route One’s Internet Manager and Operations Manager to deliver a number of enhancements to their site.

Route One was crowned Best Independent Etailer 2011 and presented with a Drapers Etail Award at the awards ceremony held at Altitude 360, London on 27th January 2011.

Liverpool FC need no introduction to who they are and it just so happens I have been a fan since the early 80′s and when I was given the chance to become their Project Manager overseeing the delivery of their enhancement road map and bug fixing, lets just say I wasn’t shy in coming forward.

I work closely with their Internet Sales Manager, Systems and Development Manager and Systems & Operation Manager to ensure the site continues to move forward and lead the way in Football Club websites.

In February 2011

LFC Mobile store was definitely the most rewarding project I managed in 2010 working closely with both LFC and a highly skilled team of developers to develop and deliver a world first.

I was tasked with defining the scope of the project and the functionality that would allow millions of fans to make purchases whilst on the move via their I phones and other smart phones on the market.

The mobile store went live on February the 16th 2011 and instantly and attracted interest from the rest of the football teams within the premiership league.

What Liverpool does with their mobile store online other football clubs tend to follow (and I’m not just saying that as a fan?)

Dobbies has 26 Stores across Scotland, England and Northern Ireland they have one of the biggest and best ranges of quality plants and gardening equipment around. You don’t have to be an avid gardener to enjoy Dobbies.

Because as well as having everything to make your garden grow, they have everything you need to simply relax and enjoy your garden, I took over the Project Management of the site in 2010 to deliver enhancements to their new site which went live in 2010.
